Speed Channel Rally-Thon

the speed channel is showing a Rally marathon with 14 Races from all over the world. I guess they are basically replaying the season in one day. New Years Day.

Speed does it every year, I first caught it in '99. 14 rallies is a hell of a lot to tape! It's not too big a deal if you watched the WRC coverage all season. Although, it should get everyone pumped-up for the '04 season in a couple weeks!

Did anyone else notice this? Speedvision seems to think rally racing fans have BAD CREDIT -- there were at leat 3 ads per ad break dealing with credit rebuilding, debt refinancing or credit cards.

I liked the "Year in Racing: WRC". I don't know why people hate Ralph Shaheen and Nicky Grist - I think they're great!

i also taped and watched

I missed alot of the races towardst he end of the season. All i can say is wow what a turn around petter solberg had. HE was alot of points out of first early on. But alot of 1st and seconds put him in contention and to win the driver championship was amazing. I hope he can keep it going next year. There was talk that subaru may have to go with a lighter hatchback to compete with the 206 and citroen but now if subaru can get another consistant driver team up with petter we will see.
