Who Watched Rally-thon All Day Long!

Who sat around all day long today and watched the Rally-thon on Speed? Anyone else?

I started taping at 4am and when i got out of bed, at noon, I watched the Rally-thon until 7pm. I didn't go outside once today. Plus I was nursing a hangover.

didn't work out for me, I have a friend at work who was supposed to tape it for me, but he says he spent 2 hours trying and couldn't get the video machine to work.

so if anyone taped it I would be very appreciative of a chance to watch or copy them....

I too spent all day taping the whole 14 hours. Tried to watch it...but after seeing the same 5 commercials over and over every 4 minutes....It was getting to me, so had to resort to just checking every hour or so to see everything was taping ok and to change the tape every 2 hours. I'll now can go watch it and fast forward thru all the Debt Reduction commercials.....

I so wanted to get a DVD recorder and do this....but had to settle with the old VC Recorder. Better then nothing I guess.

Cheers

I watched (on & off) and recorded 14 hours (8 hour and 6 hour tape) of it. Tivoed Speed's "The Year in WRC". Sure Citroen won the manufacturer's trophy, but Subaru was definitely the best team.

I taped the 1st 7 rallies' one hour shows yesterday and have last 7 rallies' 2 hour shows on SVHS. 11 tapes total ... Super VHS probably doesn't help though since Speed is very blurry at my place ...

If someone in Sac has the equipment to transfer to mpeg2 ... I have a DVD burner also

btw, I couldn't make it past noon yesterday ... the commercials got to me.
