Reno Rally
Primitive Racing won the OPEN class of the Reno ClubRally on Day 2 after suffering multiple mechanical problems (and a DNF) on Day1. The team was third overall on Day two with 2 stock struts (pulled from a 1990 Legacy in a junkyard with 189,000 miles), a broken front swaybar, failing EGO sensor, broken starter, and rally computer shaken to pieces...
The rally was pretty rugged and many cars succumbed to the rough conditions. Finishing was a challenge.
Scott Fuller won on Day 2 with an awesome Group 2 VW GTi (6 speed sequential, 245 hp!), but even he was limping on a blown strut.
