Open Class car 413 P.R.

L and E Fabrication's Open Class 413 Rally Team has begon preparation for the Oregon Trail Rally April 21-23. It is the 3rd event in Rally America’s National Championship. The Event takes place in Hillsboro, Oregon. This year’s running is a three-day event, the rally competition begins on Friday, April 21 with a super-special stage at Portland International Raceway. The competition continues on the roads of the Tillamook Forest on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd.
After the great weekend in Salem, MO, Erik Schmidt is looking forward to Oregon Trails. It is the 2nd time Erik will be heading out to Hillsboro, Oregon. The first time was back in 2004 when Erik navigated to a 1st place Production Class win. Besides the first time driving down the Oregon roads the team’s normal navigator Mike Rose will not be attending Oregon Trails. Filling in for Mike is another Colorado local Grant Hughes.
Grant navigated for Brian Moody at the 2005 running of the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb where they won Pike’s Peak Open Class. Grant is not expecting any problems making the transition from hill climbing to rally. Grant has also driven a few rally events.
We are very happy to announce that the team will now be working with Nukabe Automotive the exclusive importer of Cusco Racing Products to the United States. Nukabe is a welcome addition to the products that L and E Fabrication deals with, and the team is really looking forward to getting more Cusco parts on the rally car.
