I have a oppurtunity to move back to Tacoma from Hawaii or move Charleston SC. I would rather move back to Tacoma just because I like it there. Plus I've been gone for two years and miss all the rain.... Also wanted to know if they do track days at PIR or SIR (is it still called SIR). We have open track days but track is not that good needs tons of work...And how are the performance shops for Suby parts I was ust getting into them as we left I've delt with World One in Seattle just wanted to know if anybody had any input on Tacoma area I know there are shops but when I left they all seemed to be geared toward Honda's...Thanks for any input....

 

Why would you want to move to Charleston??? I'm stationed there right now, and fortunately about to transfer. I'll be moving to Bellevue, WA infact. Anyhow, Charleston is so muggy, and the bugs are overwhelming. They've got super mosquitos and killer gnats! Also, this is the only place where having roaches in your apartments is normal. Where i'm from (which is Seattle by the way) if you have roaches in your place, your place should be condemned as unsuitable for living. That's my experience anyway. I'd recommend you move to Tacoma. That is if you don't mind the Tacoma aroma.

 

I'm orginally from FL so the bugs don't bother me that much we have bugs here in Hawaii. I lived in Tacoma for 7 years and have been gone for 2 years and my wife is from there so I know about the Tacoma aroma come on it's not that bad.....

my thoughts exactly. PIR still does drags fri and sat nights during the summer and has track days at least for the car clubs but I dont know of others.
