Redhook Brewery Barbecue Championship
A few of my office-mates have teams that compete in the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Association. Regionals are this weekend at the Redhook Brewery in Woodenville. We went last year and it was a pretty good time. All of the teams give out food after the turn-ins, so you get to taste lots of goodies. Our office teams are the "Swamp Gators" and "AGGIEny & exTEXASy" (trust me when I say that a true texan knows his barbecue!).

Ok... the family just got back from spending three hours hanging out with the crew there. Jeebus they are crazy.

Mack is one of our sales leads, and he is "southern region". He just got back from texas. He had 15lbs of Louisiana crawfish shipped back for tonight:

The way these things work is:
You cook food:

You put it on a table in front of your tent:

... and you set up the real pit barbecues for tomorrows cookin:

We'll be there noonish or so tomorrow... depends how I feel from my "lemonade" I was drinking tonight.
