Okay, we've decided on a venue for the SB^2/DCKK pool meet: Steelhead Brewery in Burlingame (http://www.steelheadbrewingco.com/lo...urlingame.html, if you are interested, and check out the menu and prices while you are at it, so you know how much money to bring).

We are planning on making this a dinner and pool night (plus, I understand the scenery is a lot better at night, for the single folks ). We will be meeting at 6PM on Saturday, September 6, for dinner at the Steelhead Brewery, so I will need a headcount by Friday, 29 August, so I can reserve some tables for dinner and pool. Dinner is open to anyone, but you must be 21 to drink. If you plan on playing pool, bring extra money (and a cue, if you are so inclined.) This is open on everyone, so if you want to bring a friend/significant other, please include them when you RSVP.

Man if i wasn't spending the whole day of the 7th with the North Bay guys i'd be all over it. The place looks great and i'm always down for pool.

Current headcount for Steelhead is 12. I'm reserving the two pool tables Saturday morning. Hourly rates are $12 for one table and $14 for the second, and we can keep them a max of 2 hours each for Saturday night. I plan on reserving for 6:30. Dinner will be around the pool tables. We will be done early enough that if anyone has plans for afterwards, they can go and enjoy themselves.

ya i did hear something about that casino in Novato. Out on Black Point i think. Casino's are not my bag though. But i do work with a bunch of people that drive way up to that other one all the time. So they'll be happy to have it there. I think if it does happen that it'ld be just a slap in the face to the city council up there. i spent most of my teen years in that crappy town and the city council did nothing but remove any and all places that reprecented something they considered bad or poor taste, Now to have a Casino opening there. HAHAhhahahhaa...............

Haha, i'm so whacked right now, its 3:40 and i just got back from UOP....i dunno why i even did, left at 11 and sat at my friend's place for half an hour and then left....lol
