It all depends on your records, age, status, and what else you have to insure. If you are young, single, have a bad record and only have the wrx to insure it's going to cost you.
I would say State Farm is one of the lowest premiums if you have a good record. I have had it for 25 years and have maintained a good record and I review different companies each year and have not found any other company to even come close to State Farms rates. They are hundreds less for the same coverage levels.
I am going to switch to "better" coverage with Chub when my home value goes over 500k They have stated value insurance, it costs more but they cover all mods to your car if you want it covered.

okay. i will get a quote from state farm. Thanks for your suggestion. btw, is "Chub" a insurance company? or what is it? cover mods are nice but currently i only have TBE, uppipe, pulley, and AP (which stays home)... so i don't think i need to pay for covering my mods but maybe in the future. but it's really interesting to hear that insurance can cover mods... anywayz, where r u located? as u can see, i'm in bellevue

Call up progressive, fic, geico, and aig. Do an internet search for their numbers. If you have a home or apt you can get a discount on your auto by carrying mulitple policys. You can also get a discount for showing prior insurance. I use Fic I'm 22 and have one speeding ticket. Just call around. If you go to a brokerage ask what their fee for service is. I'm a broker and a fair fee is $100 it will be included in your down payment. I wouldn't pay much more than that. If you go to farmers, state farm, allstate, or AAA they will not have a fee.
