well, my beloved '86 scooby stationwagon finally bit the dust. it was my first car...... a moment of silence please. unfortunatly i just got out of college and would LOVE to buy a WRX but because of loans, insurance, and the hope to move out from beneath the parentals roof, i can not afford one as of yet. i am saving my pennies. but until then i will be traveling in a '94 civic hatchback that i just purchased. not exactly the same thing huh? i will still forever study this site in hopes that one day i will be able to purchase and mod one of these fine performance machines.
PS. someone should tell those idiots who draw the lotto plus numbers that they are screwing up..... THEY ARENT DRAWING MY NUMBERS!

Don't ever buy lotto tickets yo!!!
You've been to college, you've read how those evil bastards are exploiting human psychological weakness... Your hope of winning is overriding your scientific rationality.
Anyway, as a fellow poor college student, i feel your pain... but haha, four years of saving saving and saving paid off. While my friends blew all their money on high school on good looking expensive clothes, alcohol, and clubbing, i saved up my money. Plus, with Chinese New Years, i basically raked in cash from relatives (until the asian financial crisis started to hit taiwan, lol)
Borrowed 8 thou from my parents, and i picked up a used 2002 WRX last month.
2002 WRXs are finally starting to lose their value, thanks to the model redesign, release of the STi, etc...
And oh yeah, a great "college" trick to making money is using e-bay. Last semester i sold military surplus i bought at Fort Lewis, to fellow military freaks in Taiwan. Genuine, high priced, high performance load bearing equipment used by special forces frequently find themselves, *cough* quite illegally *cough* in surplus stores right outside ft lewis, and store owners occasionally don't know what they have.
You pick up that, and post it on e-bay, where it sometimes doubles or more in price. I made about 2000 dollars from this endeavor, and it was just casual hours on weekends spent searching and posting up stuff for e-bay.
Another friend of mine would buy TV/VCR combos from Costco, and then sell them for double the price on e-bay to some people who didn't know better.

So start searching, and start making money!
