Yup, I sure didn't want to expose my brakes to the heat of normal powder coating (300 at least). Nore did I want to spend the money on it and the downtime of sending them off to a powder coating.

IDK about chipping as only time will tell, but my gold was chipped really bad so either way they will chip. I did use 900 degree paint and baked them for 3hrs to cure the finish. When installing my brake pads after painting I was hammering the the pins that hold the pads into place and hit the caliper a few times on accident, it didn't chip them surprisingly but this is the only test they have gone through so far. I can post pics in a few months of how they look. I picked up some brush on caliper paint for touch ups as I am expecting chips!
Color ME stupid! No, I thought they were all powder coated.. will slink off to my wine now.

1 week and about 600+ miles and no chips yet. It won't last forever though

Yes, you have one of the best sleepers I've seen. Did you swap to black interior too?

no, but I almost did with bigworm. For some reason I want the limited though (leather). We will see, I might just leave it and get black STi seats.

I love it . If I do a brembo swap on this car, or the next that is what I plan to do as well. Gold is too flashy for me
