Car Info: 2002 Legacy GT Wagon
USDM STi motor/drivetrain in 1998 2.5 RS.
Greddy headers
STi uppipe
Megan downpipe
Sheepdog exhaust piping (3" throughout)
N1 exhaust
No AC compressor for drag
Underdrive pulley
Tein HA coilovers w/ adjustable camber mounts
STi brembos
OZ superleggera wheels w/ bfgoodridge Gforce sports (street rims)
Cusco rear triangle strut bar
STi gauge cluster
It's not the prettiest, it's not the loudest or most outlandish or even a car that most people would give a second glance, but it's 300 HP/300 ft lb in a car that weighs 400 lbs less than an STi, so it's quick. Unfortunately Hawaii no longer has a racetrack, so this car is built mainly for autocrossing, but butt dyno feeling probably has this car running in the middle 12's. And it's mostly stock. So much more in store for the STi part of this combo, as well as more weight savings by the way of carbon fiber. Maybe aiming for 400 AWHP or so in a 2500 lb dry weight car? Sounds reasonable enough to me, but we'll see. So far, my dad hasn't had the "itch" to upgrade it any further. Hope you like it.

I had to dig deep for this one, but here's the car before it's current incarnation.

If I searched more, I might be able to find it before it was even turbo. Just tweaking, mind you.

Car Info: Slower than the guy with all the money :(
I'd like to emphasize that this car was built by the crew at Vakamon motorsports. I thank Davin & Ryan for this build, and would like to say they take pride in every build they do,and they follow up with continued support. In the future we will be trying some other innovative ideas to make this car safer, faster, and all around better. Hopefully,we will have a track where we will truly be able to test the full potential of this car, until then I'll be shaking it down at our local autocross this weekend 10/15. Thanks also go to my son for his enthusiasm to share with you guys. My computer skills are somewhat limited. Keep an eye out for future installments.

Car Info: None.
I had a chance to ride in this car over the past weekend. I'm pretty sure there is some internal bruising...and I know for a fact my spleen and liver were pooped out.
It's "wonky head" fast. ...as in - if your head isn't against the headrest when you get on it you'll get the wonky head feeling! It's pretty damn fast. I'd have to say that DOHC's 1/4 mile time is pretty realistic!
