Very nice indeed,
My friend has a red one that looks very similar to that, except its a GSR custom turbo'd by him....Last week he ran 10.9 @ only 15 psi.....pretty amazing stuff. He ran on the biggest BF slicks he could fit, and did it with full gsr leather interior....and 3 TVs LOL !!

anyway -- nice car.

 

15psi of boost on a GS-R motor?

I might have to throw the flag on that since stock GSR compression is 11.5:1 (IIRC)... and 15psi + 11.5:1 = BOOM!!

 

I dont BS -- I tell u right now, thats what we all thought, and he is LITERALLY wanting the motor to blow -- so he keeps tuning it higher and higher until it goes, but its NOT going....only thing he is doing is DOUBLE gaskets on every place u can think of....so unless thats making that much of a difference then he's got something special....I have seen that car do 12.0 when he started the project a month ago, down to a 10.9 this past weekend...I gotta give it to him, he knows how to F'n tune his *** off... he did a h22 swap into the same car for a friend of mine, and completely street tuned it....and what a suprise when I went to the dyno with him a few weeks later, there was virtually nothing to adjust, and thats just street tuning....he did the tuning for the gsr motor on the dyno....but whatever.

P.S. Im not some fat 12 year old that needs to make himself feel 'good' online....I dont waste my time....

like you said a hair not enough for 15psi eather that or he has a boost gauge with the needle sitting at 9 when the cars off....
