Yeah. We are doing a 5.0 swap in mine. The V8 swap is almost too easy to toss in a Subaru.

She may just be sitting for the moment, but at least she's sitting in style.

They would fit with ease, but the function behind it would be terrible. At least this way when the car squats the tire will go in the wheel-well.

I might pick up some 11's for around town.

Um yeah haha. Haven't you been following the build?

It originally was getting a SR20, but now it will get a 5.0

Thanks man. I'm just collecting all the parts right now and body pieces so it will be a one stop shop. Once its running then back to the booth then on to the street.

ahh i just now made sense of what you were saying here as far as keeping the function purpose. makes sense. but why no more sr? a turbo'd sr would get you more power than that 5.0 would wouldnt it?

The sr was built for about 300-350whp. The 5.0 is already at 300 with the mods that are on it and the torque is closer to 375 if not more. It's just more bang for the buck and the SR was draining me. I'm trying to buy a house next year and the last thing I need is that SR taking my money away haha

Lol that's true. Have you ever thought about side jobs or projects to make some money on? If your doing all this yourself, im sure I'd have you install alot of my parts rather than going to shops and other places. Plus, alot of places don't like doing custome work, especially with metal.

My friend is the fabricator and works out of his garage on the side. Full-Time he works at CorteX Racing. His name is Crick Filippi. He is literally your NUMBER 1 source of fab work probably in all of Northern California. I've yet to see any comparable work come from any shops.

So needless to say no I do not do side jobs haha. I really only work on my own car.

yeah they fit in nicely. seen this really loses my motivation. I'm very low on the motivations scale of things. I honestly do not know what to do. My goal is to have the most iconic GC in Northern California. Just don't know how to achieve it...
