had to put a halt on it for a while but i will be getting started back up on tuesday. completion date should be before February (minus buying wheels). and the rear end is currently the stock R160 but welded. im going to see how it holds up. id like to get a LSD but i havent done the research to see whats necessary to install a R180 or R200.

sweet man. The r160 should be ok I just wouldn't suggest going for burnouts/launches. that'll break some axles for sure lol.
Check around on rs25.com, there is 1 guys I know of on there did the R200 swap successfully (wishicoulddrift) . takes a little work but probably worth it in the long run
otherwise there is that guy with the purple legacy drift car, he has been running the stock welded r160 for awhile now. he is on here and there on rs25 and nasioc

Update #2:
This is where the car stands as of today (1/5/11)
Ok so basically i had to put the project on halt for a little bit. I will pick up again on it on 1/21 (due to legal issues.) NO ITS NOT STOLEN! The quarters have been cut for the 40mm widebody I'm installing. I also included a more complete engine bay picture, but i guarantee it wont look like that in a couple weeks. I've decided to change a few things and maybe add a few more goodies. but here are some better exterior pictures for all of you who are following this build. Once 1/21 comes along I will be updating every week so stay tuned in to this.

Once the shop was cleared out we moved it inside:

the 350whp might be pushing it but i dunno. I mean a lot of guys with wrx's run about that much on stock drivetrain but you are sending all of it to the rear diff so who knows lol. I think he is around 250whp or something like that and its holding up ok
