Yeah, I know, but I've been debating it for a while and decided to go ahead and do it. Then I'll have to find a lip too. Fastwrx has their own replica on sale cheap right now but they don't have any pics of it installed on an 04-05 that I could see and they didn't reply to my email about it.

Trimmed inner tabs. Just hit the tops with the dremmel and pop them off.

Then smooth the area a bit.

Going to fit them up and see how it looks.

Didn't get a chance to snap good pics, but got quite a few of the install. I may do a little write up because I found some useful things out. As expected, the interwebz is full of incorrect information on this. I read everything I could before trying this and picked and chose the bits that worked because there was no one complete set of directions that was actually right for the wagon.

I also need to find a better method to attach the inner most edge on the bottom. Most that I've seen don't look right and now I understand why - it fits, but the mounting is from the back, so it pulls it back instead of straight up, so it doesn't quite sit right. I used some spacers that I cut down to fit inside, but it still does it. I will find something that will hold it better.

Nice. So, puff of white smoke from the scoop today on the way to work and boost gauge started flashing - NO CEL and now that I think about it, it was stumbling a little bit last night as I was on the final stretch to home. With 124K on it, I am guessing I will be looking at a turbo upgrade very soon. While not unexpected with the mileage, that doesn't mean I want to drop that kind of cash either. Oh well, that's the way it is with cars.
My registration just showed up too, but at least it went down

Dropped by Mann and had him take a quick look. Says looks like oil leaking from somewhere in there, so doesn't look like the turbo. Will know for sure next week.

My chick has a wagon too, so sort of my own little Mafia. That one was a project too
