a few pics of my new project. im sort of new to the subby world. i was pretty much given this car and saving it from the junk yard. in pretty good shape. never worked on a subaru so heres my start. i hope to be active on this site. i got plans for it and am gonna be on here alot lookin for some help. for the time being nothing drastic. but in the near future or by the end of summer i plan on a turbo swap. one question i had was ive been lurking alot and just wanted to know if i had an L impreza or just a regular RS. its a 1.8. but the trunk lid says L. so thanks for the help.

thanks its a 94 i beleive. ive never seen any others in the color i got. i dont even know what color it is. like factory wise. its gotta be called something else besides green. something more like ocean green or something. ill find out sooner or later

I just recently bought a 93 Subaru Impreza L 1.8 AWD none turbo. I bought it for about 350 bucks. Just last week I got into a minor front end collision and then I decided to but the 2001 RS modification on my car. So now I have a 93 with 134,000 miles on it and I have a 2001 RS body with tight rally fog lights I bought the parts new form Subaru with the friendly help of Scoopsouth, who works at a dealership. The parts alone hood, scoop, vents, bumper beam, bumper skin, diamond cut fog lights and head lights, clear corner lights and grill. Cost about 1,000 bucks not bad plus I bought some tight 17 X 7.5 RDS Rota RIMS for about 1,200 bucks with shipping. So now my little 93 Impreza L AWD 1.8L has made a transformed into a 01 Impreza RS AWD 2.5L. The L model is just the basic model Subaru Makes that’s AWD the other basic paint. Engine, no pd, pl, cc, but it is AWD and that’s what counts every thing else can be modified. And it’s not that expensive. I love looking at my car now and seeing the huge difference.
