since i haven't updated and it's been about a month since i've had my wrx, i'll update on my vw...
went to work on the engine bay and cleaned up...meaning, polishing and painting items with help from homies





then, went to work on the interior (recaros are stock for these models)


yes, mounted correctly;



and new tail lights;


tomorrow, i pick up the subaru then wait for my tune that is slated for monday. once that's up, i'll be doing more work on this car. as of right now, i want the car to run perfectly THEN send her off to paint. laters

Thanks for the pic's, they're great, and It's wonderful to see somebody else suffering to bring a VW back. I'd tell you the story of my $30K 1976 Porsche 912,but your tears wouldn't be those of joy. Have fun but watch the wallet.

yeah, i've read all about that. i'd have no problem doing it if it was a jetta carat, coupe, or GL....fact of the matter is, this is a GLi. i'd feel bad doing that to one, :banana:.
