STi wheel

Very nice, and great to still use your own airbag. I want to change mine too - I really want a momo, but then I have to buy a hub adaptor. What parts do you have to buy to get the wheel installed? If nothing, maybe I should get an Sti wheel instead. hmm..

it's a direct plug and play thing.. just remove the old one, plug the new one in and you're set--atleast that's what i've been told.

i'm going to instlal it today and see what happens

Let us know how the install went (take pics if you can) Hopefully I'll see you at UCKK again sometime so I can check it out, and then imagine how it will match up with my dark grey GC8 dashboard.

steering wheel install

well, it took me about an hour to do this, but it was really easy. the hardest part of this whole thing was getting the bolts out of the sides of the airbag!

to made this work, i had to take out the existing plugs from the old wheel and put them in the sti wheel.. by this, I mean that the previous owner cut off the airbag plug, so i had to splice the old airbag plug into the new wheels' wires. and to make the horn still work, i just used the old horn plug (which popped right out)....pics:

the plugs i am talking about... the spliced airbag plug, and the old horn plug which popped right out

new wheel installed:

the old wheel, which is for sale! throw me some offers
