They were a b-day present, but I think they came from Pep Boys or Kragen. They also have the extenders (red) which make it easier for lowered cars to get on.

Thanks for the correction. What is the specific need on adding the oil coooler. Just wondering. I have seen a couple of guys already add these . Is this for autocross application use.

In my case it is for road course track days. It is added insurance just like swapping out the radiator.

Which reminds me that I still have the C&R radiator from my WRX wagon sitting around waiting to go into the STi.

The KW's finally showed up. Now I need to mount the Cusco front camber plates and GroupN rears.

They'll be going in along with new lateral links, new trailing arms, and Whiteline diff lock bolts - just in time for my next track day.

My KW's are 9kg front and 8kg rear and I thought they would be way too stiff for the street. In fact, they are just fine. I turned the compression down from 7 of 8 turns to 4/8 and they are quite plush - I was pleasantly surprised. These are stiffer and more accurate on the track than the JIC's I had on my WRX AND they are much more comfortable on the street than the JIC's.

All in all, I am very happy with this purchase. I need to get some of the install pics out of the camera for the KW's and the Poltec rear setup. I'll post them soon.

In the meantime, here is a lap around Thunderhill that my buddy taped for me. It was my first time on the KW's so I wasn't pushing it hard until later in the day, but you can get an idea for how little body roll I have now.

Lifetime warranty, stainless steel, and they don't need rebuilding.
What exactly do you mean by that? After a certain amount of use things wear out and will need to be replaced/rebuilt.

JIC's and other coilovers need to be rebuilt every season. The KW's do not.

Actually my wife comes to the track with me and rides shotgun, so she is all for going faster.

A couple of quick pics from the latest track day (4/15). This was on the KW's and shaved A032R's.

The video is from my buddy's car. He is using a custom mount that attaches to the center rear headrest in his wagon. I'll have pics of my new digital video setup after this Friday's Thunderhill event.
