wait... wouldnt this be a ver.8 still?

being that the version refers mostly to the body style? 2000-2002 JDM/STI (bugeye) ?

i get you put in a non DCC trans and the 8k 2.0 motor at best its a GDB-A or ver.7.5

Lol I know what your saying. But I can't call it a Jdm ver8 sti because I have no ver8 parts on it.

you have way more ver.8 body parts then ver.7 parts...

rims ver.8 sti
seats ver.8 sti (IIRC)
interior ver.8 wrx
exterior ver.8 wrx
cluster ver.8 sti

haha i know im nit picking but its ok since its posted in baic... not like im ruining your build thread lol

i think your getting caught up on the "STi" part where im just talking about the version 7.

a STi only refers to a more race ready (performance) option to the WRX

so to be correct you have a ver.8 GDB EJ207 STi

i think it is just that he has a wrx with a ver7 sti motor/transmission swapped into it...not like the car itself is a ver7 sti

Cool vid man, I like a lot of the shots you guys used. Was wondering though how come you went with the track from the GoPro 2 promo vid on their site? Its not that its a bad track I was just curious.

Awesome car though, I'm sure its a lotta fun!
