Hipmvmts 04 wagon

picked up a unmolested 04 wagon a couple months back. She's been great, putting plans in order to get it just right for me.

Still stock

Ideas:
Invidia N1 so I can actually hear my car
Long term goal Ej257 swap w/04 sti trans
Rpf1s
Swift wagon springs
Reliable turbo build on next engine.

Progress will most likely be slow given my status as a single income family living below the poverty line.

Good catch, they are also sprayed a little darker inside. but the drivetrain is completely stock, one owner with a million receipts.

As a wagon owner, you don't want a canister style exhaust unless you intend to drive with ear plugs.

This^ Maybe not the ear plugs, but you definitely get more of the sound in the car in a wagon.

Who says they were sprayed? My headlights are OEM gunmetal.

I like the stromung exhaust I have on my wagon. Personally i think the twin tips look best on wagons, I just wish they flowed a little better. Also I got rpf1s on new tires i just pulled off mine if your looking

I prefer dual tip too. My Hush flows just fine.

My tuner thinks my 2.5 inch stromung is leaving some hp on the table at my power level. 415/450 at the wheels. I debated swapping it just to see but not worth the money at the moment just to test.

I can almost guarantee that if you are truly making that kind of power, 2.5" piping is likely holding you back...but you already have plenty

Well then I am wrong, I was just assuming. But I do like them a lot more without the amber lens.

Yeah, it does look better, but basically a ticketable offense too if the cop wants to be a jerk. I got dinged for it with a different car and when I took it in to get it fixed the cop at the station said "Did the dude who gave you this look like this?" "Yes." Cop: "Yeah, it is a pet peeve of his so he tickets them every time he sees them. He's a d*ck."

I was under the impression that the invidia n1 with the silencer in sounds pretty close to stock. My bud back in Detroit has a eBay knock off n1 and its near silent within his wagon with its silencer. Aside from that I really do enjoy the sound of the n1 as well as its appearance.
