like i said though, im willing to upgrade the turbo and stuff, to the piont of being safe with the stock block that is just the list of what i know will get done. he is also making a TMIC (or at least plans to) for everyone in the WRX community.

do any of the GT series turbos fit? im thinking lik ea GT28RS or some other dual ball bearing turbo?

he is an amazing tuner and worker, hell be able to tune the AEM with great success im sure. the second paragraph is what id like to hit, provided, like you said, the stock block holds. are you talking whp or crank hp?

Those were all crank hp numbers since dyno wheel hp numbers vary from dyno to dyno. On a conservative AWD dyno you're looking at 250 whp or so with a VF series turbo, injectors, fuel pump, tbe, uppipe, upgraded TMIC, tuning, and 91 octane. That's running 18.5 psi (my old WRX wagon). Some folks have achieved slightly higher numbers with 18g or 20g turbos. Running 95-100 octane will get you into the 275-300 whp range depnding on how high you bump the boost.

There are some GT series turbos that fit the goofy Subaru arrangement, but most of the good ones will require custom mounting and a custom uppipe. I believe the GT-30 is one of the more popular options. Look at the link wingless provided for Gruppe-S. They have some Garrett packages which may give you some ideas.

Power and speed are addictive - you will never be satisfied.

eh...i turned a 98whp car into 210whp and was moderately satisfied, even with the problems that it created...i can deal with 250awhp for a good while at least.
