Drifting my 2004 Subaru WRX for FIRST TIME
http://clo.sytes.net/Tanabe.html (NEWEST vids !!!)
SLOW-MO with music
My friend and I were bored on this Saturday afternoon and his 240 was stuck in the garage for some more work and I had my 2004 WRX ready and prepped (even though stock) for the upcoming DRIFT event.
I told my friend that I wanted to try to see if I can drift in my brand new Subaru, so he brought his Digital Camera which takes video as well and shot the following footage of my FIRST time trying to drift.
CHECK OUT LINKS BELOW and all comments welcome!!!

sorry guys, no more vids (YET!). pics of the car is just stock.
Waiting to receive my bodykit, tuner lugs for my rims, and waiting for lowering springs made for 2004.
Then more pics and vids.
dont try what I did, i dont want anyone to hit curbs and mess up their suspension!!!! and rims!!!!! do it in a BIG OPEN parking lot!!! AWDs are different than RWD......, but im no professional... as stated in the vids... FIRST TRY, SECOND TRY...
my only experience was in my FWD civic si.... and that was only "sliding" around corners, etc.... but maybe that assisted me in controlling my car as it drifted..... i could have been lucky or I could be a natural. I wont know until i try again, but i wont do it near curbs..... luckily i had control to keep going and then drift into that exit!! PLEASE DO NOT TRY WHAT I DID! DO AT YOUR OWN RISK! and dont get caught by police either!

I didnt say i was the best drifter, i didnt say my car was the fastest, i didnt say anything except, check out my first time drifts and tell me what you guys think.
Quite 10yr oldish to me, but negative comments are welcome as well.
To everyone else, that was a 1st gear drift and to try at higher speeds, I want to , and will at the next DRIFT event in my area. Wish me luck.

Yooo, that second try was freakin' awesome! You're my hero, I gotta go try that.
