against evo
it was fairly hard to say, we were very different drivers, he was fairly young with a solo2 background. My experience lies in track days and road racing.
I could easly drive behind him (1 car length or less) through the infeild twisties and I would gain ground (able to pass if I wanted to) through the oval.
If we did not go out, together, say there was a car or two in between us at the start he would never catch me.
All that said if we had been "racing" and passing was allowed through out the whole corse I think I wouldn't have seen much of him; although I don't think that has much to do with the relative speed of the car.
The Evo was a fast car, an excellent drive. Between an STI and an Evo it is all driver.
Also, my advice for anyone who is thinking of doing mods to there car........if you really want to go faster, go to driving school. The number one thing you can spend money on is you.
