New hotness! Yeah, I basically got bored one day and busted out the flat black high-temp. Pretty happy with the results.

Here's my RS with The DoinkWRX in the paddock at Reno-Fernley Raceway during the recent SECCS.org track school hosted by The Next Level Driving School.

At that track day I was breaking in a whole new brake setup, running Stoptech slotted rotors front and rear (stock WRX size up front for the 4 pots, stock RS size in the rear) with Stoptech Club Race spec front pads, and Ultimates in the rear, to go with my Goodridge lines and Ate fluid. Awesome, awesome brake setup. When I finish the swap I may finally have to go to full race pads, but I know where I'll get them when I do.
I also got around to installing my MRT master cylinder bracket shortly after the track day and before a Solo 2 event. It is really worth the cost ($50) and extremely annoying install- brake pedal is much firmer now and modulation is easier. thumbs up for that. Good luck with yours if you have a bugeye or '04+ WRX.

However I still like the 4 door GC6 better. The chassis is more rigid.

And the cage will solve what little rigidity issues there are in this chassis.

Updates! Here's some previously unposted pics:
Early morning, day of the SECCS track school:

At Registration the last autocross of the year:

Also, the flat black stockers are no more... traded them for something new... pics will follow soon. Some of the plans for how I'm going to do the swap have changed too... again, details will be posted once they are finalized...
