I hate Altezza lights, however, I seem to accept the ones for the WRX. As for the old GC8, I still don't like them. I wish I could help and point you in the right direction. I think there's a board from the UK that would be able to assist you.

i agree. If you want to imitate by buying the altezzas, why not just buy an Altezza cuz the IS300 is the only car that looks good with altezzas (euros). Its just like someone buying a Honda Civic and putting a GTR symbol on their car. Be original

i am one of those geeky college students you mention. and i do want to stand out and be cool. so i got a subaru, all wheel drive, safe, good sensible car. then i put borla headers, borla catback, tein flex coilovers, intake, pulleys, and a homemade ground kit in. now...i am pretty sure that i know more than jack shhit about cars like you mentioned. if i can do this simple bolt on stuff by myself, in my humble garage, it doesnt mean that i am god of car knowledge, but when i can wire up a friggen apexi s-afc into my ecu and have it actually work the first time around, and then drop an act clutch in it(a friend helped me with that one though), it means that i can hold my own when talking to someone of your age about modifying cars. and i do spend all my money on parts, they are kind of random, swaybar, intake, fuel management, but you gotta have em all in the end anyway, so what does it matter what order they are installed in, as long as all necessary components are there when it comes time to support the turbo kit going in at the end of summer?
so dont go labeling all people younger than you with "unique" cars as people that dont know shhit about cars.
and what do you think some dude driving his '67 camaro, all tubbed out with straight pipes and 600 street driven hp thinks when he hears you take off? probably the same as you think of someone driving a honda.
just my $.02

edit: for spelling
