so dont go labeling all people younger than you with "unique" cars as people that dont know shhit about cars.
and what do you think some dude driving his '67 camaro, all tubbed out with straight pipes and 600 street driven hp thinks when he hears you take off? probably the same as you think of someone driving a honda.
just my $.02
edit: for spelling

well, i'll have to ask u something, not because i don't agree with what u do, but becaue i don't understand y u r doing this.
this is the million dollar question....... what do u hope to get out of ur car? do u like it to be realli fast so u can beat other ricers? or because u want to put on all kinds of gismos so others who don't have it could think that is cool? u r spending those money for a purpose right?
as for me, most of my money goes to suspetion mods, like sway bars and stuff. i also have a short shifter. for appearance, i got a momo shift ***, but regrets it. if i could do it all over again, i would use the shift **** money to do something else, like struct bars. want my car to handle nice, cuz i do some cannion driving. i am spending all my money for a reason, and i do know what i'm getting out of when i do my mods (better handling), so i do know what i am doing. but my question is for u, what do u hope to get out of ur car? do u know what u r doing?
at the end, i have to remind u, i'm not trying to diss u or anything, but i don't understand what ricers r thinking, and i hope to get some insight of thier perspective
what i hope to get out of my car: a fun time at the first scca meet ive ever been to tomorrow, and maybe some good lap times. like you, most of my money has gone into suspension, there is no point in having power if you cant put it to the ground and hold it through a corner. since i have done most of the suspension mods available, it was time to put a little into the motor, intake headers exhaust, all the cheap fast easy ways to get good power for dollar. then when most of those were done, time to get ready for a turbo, fuel management larger injectors, timing control, cams, valvetrain all that stuff.
and i dont care what other people think is cool on my car, sure it feels good when people really dig your car, and think your mods are super cool, but in reality, anyone can afford the mods that i have, hell im a broke college kid. its just what people think is out of their league, so they dont even try to get their hands on stuff like the apexi computers. and my apexi, its mounted inside the closed glovebox, not on top of my dash pointed outside so everyone can google over it.
the only real difference is that my mods come when i have the cash, not all at once, you know swaybar here, coilovers there, etc.
anything i have done that "improved" the appearance of my car: tein flex coilovers, 18"wheels(made bad choice, 17" next year, when $ is available) borla catback, a trunkmonkey racing 4" monkey inside sticker on back window.
other than that, bone stock

and are you people still arguing over this topic? My god I started a war with a simple question...it baffles me to this day how people can read my multiple comments that say "THIS THREAD IS FOR PICTURES OF IMPREZA'S WITH ALTEZZA'S" and people still misconstrude that for "LETS POST OUR OPINIONS ON HOW GAY OR RICEY ALTEZZA'S ARE" I just don't get it...well I guess the average IQ of the US is going down according to new studies.

Did you mean...
Do you mean the 2004 WRX and the STi? The tail lights seem to have are slightly different, they are more transparent and able to see more detail in the lights. The lower part of the light has a little semi-circle on it as well.

Ok, MY04 is the new version in US. Intresting...
Here in Europe the (new style) 2003 WRX on the road now for a while.
In Europe:
pre2000 until MY2000 called GT
MY2001-MY2002 called WRX, known as "bugeye"
MY2003 is also called WRX "new- non-bugeye"(what do we call this car??)

Anyways I would figure you would get to play with the good stuff first if you are in Europe.
In the U.S. the body code for the bug eyed impreza (02,03) is the GDA and the previous body design was the GC8 (only 2.5RS)
the newest that will be our 2004 must be your 2003+, I have no idea what we are calling the body code here....

someone likes to play for sure...
Oslo(capital), Norway(country) the average new-car buyer for Subaru is 69,8years old here...i guess not all of them like to play but... But i never se a old man here drive a subaru slow, so they are in fact good car drivers, despite the age.

seems there are lots of ppl that really hate altezzas.. I dont think its a genuine hatred of the taillight design but just a manifestation of their disgust towards the riced-civic community that tries like hell to make their car unique from the rest at all costs (resulting in horribly tacky rides most of the time)
on the other hand.. who actually likes the old-school plastic looking taillights that come stock on all wrxs before the us 04. look at any car made in the past few years and you'll see crystal clear plastic of the new vs. foggy gross plastic of the old. whats wrong with that? does it not look nicer? look at the latest 03/04 mercedes, bimmer, cadillac, infinity and you'll see the next innovation as far as taillight flavor goes and its LED. Are all the stubborn taillight-purists going to get their panties in a bunch when we start retrofitting leds?
I dont think theres anybody who actually prefers the older junkyard look of the foggy gross plastic taillights.. seriously, if your going to voice your hatred of newer nicer looking design at least be honest - your scared that the disgust you bare against the low budget wannabe-unique civic community is going to encapsulate the subaru community. dont worry it wont! and for one reason (no not because you haters keep *****ing) because a subaru WRX is a lot more expensive then a honda civic. period.
