just wanted to say, that to what i believe and the way i feel about euros is,
other imports uses these lights and thy get no respect, we as subaru fans don't want that to happen, since subaru has made a name in america, without the wrx coming to america, the name subaru was really never in the import dictionary.
i just want to say that we as a subaru commuity, some of us want respect from the higher and more powerful cars.
but hey its ur car do what u want

I hate Altezza lights, however, I seem to accept the ones for the WRX. As for the old GC8, I still don't like them. I wish I could help and point you in the right direction. I think there's a board from the UK that would be able to assist you.
i agree. If you want to imitate by buying the altezzas, why not just buy an Altezza cuz the IS300 is the only car that looks good with altezzas (euros). Its just like someone buying a Honda Civic and putting a GTR symbol on their car. Be original

hehehahaha
man this is the funniest form in the whole site!! hahaha
i have a question for people who likes or have the altezza lights: do chicks realli dig that?? every girl i've asked thinks they r ugly!! (not that i have them, i just showed them a pic).
and also, ricer drives ricer car, it's thier car and there's no problem with that. i don't realli care what other's car looks like, but the ricer drivers realli can't drive!!!!
u can often c those ricer cars with body kits (unpainted, lol) and altezza lights picking on good o other drivers at stop lights and cutting people off on freeways. thier car is their problem, but their style of driving costantly puts others in danger. next time u c a ricer car, try to check if that car has any dents and out of shape body panels. i don't like ricers not because thier cars r ugly (my opinion), but because they can't drive!!. now any subaru with altezza lights would give others the image that the diver of that car is a ricer and, therefore, can't drive and crash all the time.

I think more then half of the modified civics and other rice bowls I see driving around have like 3 chromed out wheels....and a friggin donut on the last one. Or an exaust that sounds like a huge fart. Your car represents yourself, and the parts you put on your car represent your car.....what would u think if you saw YOU driving down the road in one of those things?
being an Impreza owner, I feel the need to uphold the standard of driving excelence =) and I think 99% of us do...there arent many cheaply made parts out there for subarus for a reason....we dont put up with that ****. If you wana buy allcheeza lights....go right on ahead....at least they dont fart =)

i am one of those geeky college students you mention. and i do want to stand out and be cool. so i got a subaru, all wheel drive, safe, good sensible car. then i put borla headers, borla catback, tein flex coilovers, intake, pulleys, and a homemade ground kit in. now...i am pretty sure that i know more than jack shhit about cars like you mentioned. if i can do this simple bolt on stuff by myself, in my humble garage, it doesnt mean that i am god of car knowledge, but when i can wire up a friggen apexi s-afc into my ecu and have it actually work the first time around, and then drop an act clutch in it(a friend helped me with that one though), it means that i can hold my own when talking to someone of your age about modifying cars. and i do spend all my money on parts, they are kind of random, swaybar, intake, fuel management, but you gotta have em all in the end anyway, so what does it matter what order they are installed in, as long as all necessary components are there when it comes time to support the turbo kit going in at the end of summer?
so dont go labeling all people younger than you with "unique" cars as people that dont know shhit about cars.
and what do you think some dude driving his '67 camaro, all tubbed out with straight pipes and 600 street driven hp thinks when he hears you take off? probably the same as you think of someone driving a honda.
just my $.02
edit: for spelling
