Hey everyone, new here. I feel like everyone's from cali? I'm from south jersey. Anyway, been working on my subbie ever since i bought it new in 2002. We've been through a lot, good times & bad times and a **** load of money I will probably never see again. I'm now running a 2.5 sti short block with the 2.0 heads. I recently upgraded to an FPgreen turbo from a VF34 and i'm running an aquamist meth kit. Last tuned @ 23psi brought me to 415whp and 410 torque. I'm pretty happy with that...but I want to get a new tranny, so that will probably be one of my last major projects on my car. I'm going 6-speed I decided. gonna upgrade my r160 to an LSD, get a stronger driveshaft, and call it a day. I posted a pic of my wrx in the black subaru stickie post in show & shine, jersey license plates. questions / comments?

 

Welcome, yes the majority of us are from the West Coast, but people from all over post here. Might want to look at WRXfanactic.com or clubwrx.net, those are mostly east guys.

I have a 2002 MBP as well. And i grew up in North Jersey. Welcome again!

Yeah I lived in Bergenfield, in Bergen County. I drive mine as a daily I have about 150,XXX I just blew my motor about 3 months ago and I swapped in a JDM V8 Spec C motor. I love my car too much to give up on it.

nic3 nice ride, and i know exactly the feeling! my engine went around 130 or 140k, i will never get rid of mine either lol, now i'm at about 165k with the 2.5 shortblock.
