This week has been a difficult one with the withdrawal of the Muscle Milk Picket racing from the Tudor series I am no Longer working for the team. I think given the chance we would have ran at the front again and challenged for wins. It was a great opportunity for me and winning the last ALMS championship before the merger of the two series was awesome. I am very disappointed that it ended like this and I hope that another opportunity like this will come soon. I will use this time to get more done on the Subaru, unfortunately The extra work from racing provided the much needed finances for this project :-(

Today I fit the JDM front bumper cover as I am having a person from Subaru of America come and take photos with the possibility of doing a article on the project, unfortunately I do not have the correct bumper support etc for it but I want it to look as it will when it's finished. I have also finished almost all the trim on the car, the front cowl and rear wheel arch trim pieces are on and the trim above the front and rear windscreens are in place. The window washer bottle and hoses are in and I have a lot more parts comming from Subaru soon to finish a lot of the small detail pieces

This is the most epic build I have ever seen. I wish I had the money to do this.
I am curious though - where in NZ have you been ordering your replacement parts from? I need some bits for my car.

Most of the parts were bought here in the USA, what are you needing? I can recommend where you go from there.

Hi Mate,
Im currently completing a similar buil in Australia based on an original Legacy RSR. I cant believe you have sourced some wheels, my biggest issue is I have used the bigger 5x114.3 hubs on 50mm Drummond suspension and cant find wheels to suit. Any ideas?
Keep up the great work, you have completely put me to shame....

There's a lot of options, I guess it just comes down to personal taste. Are you on the RS Liberty forum?

There has not been much going on with the Legacy project however I am slowly getting a few pieces for the Engine build. I have a cosworth oil pump and oil pan baffle as well as cosworth head gaskets. I have had several weekends away working race weekends and had an interesting Time last weekend at the Monterey historics helping Millen with his Nissan.
These Phenalic spacers for the intake are super high quality!

Hi guys, unfortunately as some of you know I have had to completely stop on my project with the Legacy as I have run out of money to support it and I was unable to sell any of the parts I rebuilt that were out of the Legacy that I was not going to use Again in the car.
I have started a build on a Shadow DN5 Formula one car and I have the intentions of conting with the Legacy after it's done.
Here are a few photos of the project so far

Well I know it's been a while since I posted and it's because I have been very busy building a new shop for all the projects I have. It got to the point where I needed to have a building to continue work on the race cars and I was fortunate to get financial support from the owner of the cars to be able to do so. It took several weeks and a heap of work and I was able to transform the building into my new workshop
