WTBorrow/Rent: Winter Wheel Setup
Hi Guys,
I have found myself in need of a temporary set of winter wheels. My work has decided that I need to go to Tahoe next week and I, living in the bay area, run summer tires year round.
If anyone would please lend my a set of winter wheels and tires that are 5 x114 and clear STI brembos that would be amazing. I'm not sure what the going rate is on renting wheels so I'll start at a 12 pack of the craft beer of your choosing and negotiate from there. I live in sonoma county but will be traveling up 80 so anywhere along the way would be great.
I'm more than happy to leave my stock bbs w/ Re11's as collateral. Best way to get ahold of me is to text me at (916) Two76-Six481
Thanks everyone,
Zack

I'm actually concerned about how little traction the compound in the RE-11s have in just the cold. I know that it is HIGHLY suggested not to take a summer tire anywhere if the temp is below freezing. I figured if I could locate a set to borrow and be on the safe side it would be worth it. I appreciate the haeds up though.
Nevermind work changed their mind and I no longer have to go.
