the kyocera data cable for my old slider also worked with my sisters vx6000. cable+bitpim+audacity!

 

Thanks man... I found some on ebay too. But I also heard that some people got it and didn't work for them (at all). So I was hoping someone upgraded their phone and has one and knows it works for sure.

bitpim? Audacity? What the heck are those? Man, I am so outdated on these cell phone technology stuff.

I never use my phone for picture, video, or text message. The reason I need it because my girlfirend recently broke her phone and still have one more year to go before she can upgrade. So I ended up with an old phone from my friend, which is the same as the one she had. He gave it to me for free, but wanted to save the pictures on the phone. So here I am.

 

so this bitpim and audacity thing, are they freeware or something? So basically they all have the same cable just different software? Maybe that's why those with bad experience had the bad/wrong software?
