WTB: Goodrich SS brake lines

I've been trying to get some Goodrich brake lines for the past few weeks but nobody has them in stock. Anybody know where I can buy a set?? My brake fluid severly needs changing but I don't want to do it until I get some SS lines.

We can get stoptech lines, they are a little more expensive the goodrich lines though.

edgar,
what pads and fluid do you have? Thats very disappointing because im planning on getting just these three things (pads, lines, fluid) and hoping for somewhat of an improvement over the crappy stock brakes.

edgar,

When you changed your lines, did you flush your brake system as well and replaced it w/ upgraded brake fluid (eg Motul RBF 600) or did you just bleed it w/ regular brake fluid? If you used the same brake fluid as before, you will not feel that much of a difference, especially under hard braking even w/ SS lines. It's the combination of SSlines, better pads, and upgraded brake fluid that really makes a difference.

hum... maybe thats why then ^^^^

i went with the stock pads and just bleeded the lines.. im sure tho that the stock brake lines are just as good as the goodrich ones for street use on the oem calipers.

im bet upgrading the brake pads makes the real differenct.. and oh the reason i didnt upgrade my pads this time is cause axxis dont make front brakes for the 03..

edgar,

Yea you have to do all 3 things. On the Legacy I had last year, I did Cobb SS lines, Cobb pads and ATE fluid and my 3400lb car was stopping preety dam fast! I would have used the same lines but they are different on the RS... I just ordered a set from Subie Gal over on RS25.com
