The WRX is fun to drive because it never loses traction. The power goes straight to the ground. It's faster out of the box.
In cali I'd rather drive a bugeye, because I can't imagine the 240 would be nearly as fun without the SR20 and the turbo, and because of the cops. In Okinawa we could drift around this industrial area that was closed at night. Their cops only drive these little cars with 660cc engines, so we would just run when they showed up. In the US, they have helicopters.

97-98's are the best looking ones for sure but their value hasn't dropped nearly as much as the 89-96 240's .
what you really want is a nice drift ready 92 240sx lol...
Gl with the search. These things pop up all the time for good prices.
If you want one that has mods, there are always a few for sale on norcal drift

98's were the last years made and rare. 97's are rare as well. Mistaanime's S14 is a 98 Pearl White. Rare color as well. Yup I agree 97-98's haven't dropped much in price tags. S13's are cheap in price range but if you're looking for a 97-98 it's a given it's still up there. I had 89-90-90-91-92-95-97 models all at one time before. I liked the 97 model best! Lost it due to a old lady in Modesto, CA cuz she wasn't looking @ traffic and T boned the car. But it's all good that was my call to get into Subaru's and I have strayed to Mazda, Toyota and came back to Subaru's. 7K is what I'd expect a 97-98 model to go for in very good condition. Good Luck with the Search!
Hey bro, there's actually a couple for sale nowadays on craigs. I just parted my s13 out, but the prices on s13's have raised it's kinda bull****. There are some cheap s14 zenki's for sale from 2k-6k and the s14 kouki around 3.5k-7k. You just gotta keep on looking!
