you can get tap&die sets at home depot and rethread it yourself until you can get a new IC. its pretty easy, did it when I was in 6th grade

I'm not sure which one (tap or die) rethreads nuts or bolts, but I know you can also get just the one you need instead of buying a complete kit. You might be able to rent them from autozone too
