why don't you just leave the sensor's out and turn them off with a tactrix cable?
only thing is you'll have to hide the connector's and that's not hard at all.
because aren't the sensor connected to the rod and flaps?
if u are going this far might as well take them out and plug it.
since u r in sac i would imagine a fellow suby fan will be glad to help out since there are quite a bit of ppl from there.
i know this don't help but if you are ever in the san jose/morgan hill area i'll be more then gladly to turn them off for ya.
also there's a great DIY at nasioc

so,if someone is interested in doing some work pm. dont post your opinions
ON the contrary, you can leave the motors in but the cel code will still come up.
Btw it will not show up, during smog if you permanently turn them off.
I have my motors still in there plugged in, removed the rods, plug the holes, and have passed smog!
But your way works I guess? Maybe contact grimmspeed on doing it for you.
