I have for sale a tranny built with a special edition Ra spec-c gearset. this is coming out of my 2002 wrx. the transmission and gearset are basically new, they both have about 50-100 miles on them. i made the mystake of dumping all of my savings into my car right before losing my job, now i have bills to pay. i paid 4000$ for only the gearset and labor to get the tranny built, you are also getting the whole transmission with the gearset allready in it. i have receipts for the parts and labor.

first person to make me a reasonable offer gets it. also, the transmission is still in the car. buyer must either drop out the transmission himself or pay to get it taken out.

ive never heard of the special edition spec-c RA gears. do you have any more info on them? my google search didnt unearth any info either. are these different than a regular RA geaset?

 

i believe they are the same as the regular ra gear set except they keep the stock size 5th gear. i purchased the gear set through gruppe-s in hayward. if you call them tomorrow they should be able to answer any questions about them.

 

If they are just like the RA gears and retain their stock 5th (and usually 4th gear) ratios, that does not make them Spec-C gears. That means they're "special edition" RA gears.
