what is the diameter of the piping. i have a helix is 3'' and do i need to get an adapter pipe to go from the helix to this axleback?

i'll help with this question. I have the sti catback on my wagon mated to a 3" helix catless dp with no problems.

dude ... i have said this a million times.. a MILLION

the sti axle back part is the only thing different ... the rest of the piping (catback) is the same diameter..

the only thing different is the axle backs flow design as its diameter is unchanged...

edgar,
in other words.. the wrx and sti have the same exhausts exept the axle back part is different, different in that it is better flowing then the stock wrx unit by a bite... nothing drastic tho

yes they are the same size but the muffler is much more free flowing and although not by itself, when mated with an up/dp you can feel the power difference.
