FS: KW V3 Coilovers 08+ STI
Hey everybody, if anyone saw the threads over at 3gwrx then you know I bought a set of KW V3 for my WRX and turned out the set was for STI.
Everything is in good working perfect shape and ready to go except:
It is missing 2 spacers for the bottom of the rear eye mount and 2 dust covers for the rear shocks. I already called Adam at KW in California and he already has the parts from Germany. The spacers are $30 and the Dust Covers are $18 a pair. I asked him to throw in the super sexy purple anno'd compression adjustment wheel for free. All prices include shipping.
The rear shocks do not have external chambers though. I was told by Tom (Head Tech. Rep) that they only added the chambers because of different designs which was done at various build times. He said they function 100% EXACTLY the same.
But Adam told me that if I wanted to rebuild the shocks to the version with rear chambers and does not use spacers, it would cost under $300 (return shipping is free).
Also the very bottom part of the threads on the rear shock's piston shaft has damaged threads. But the top hat nut never goes anywhere near that low so you are all good. I even confirmed all this with Adam that it is not a problem.
If you want to contact Adam or Tom at KW about anything I said, their number is 1-800-445-3767 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting**************1-800-445-3767******end_of_the_skype_highlighting, press 2 then 4.
I really want coilovers for my WRX now so I just want to sell these now if anyone is interested. I would like to get $900 shipped for them now.
If it does not sell by time I get the parts in I will charge more for them and keep the sexy adjustment wheel for myself =D
I am super busy with school and FSAE so rather go this route if I can.
Please contact me at greddy90@gmail.com if you have any questions.
