08 wrx Perrin Intercooler install probz?
Does anyone have a Perrin TMIC in their 08+ Rex? And did you have any problems installing it? Cuz I'm having trouble with installing it. I decided to use the Mishimoto throttle body hose as an upgrade instead of the OEM hose that had infamous boost leak. But anyways when I put the hose on the throttle body and I put in the intercooler together yet it feels like it doesn't reach the turbo intake side of the intercooler. What gives? Any idea?

Were you using your stock throttle body hose? I put on a Mishimoto hose but it feels like it's short to reach the intercooler, but it's the same length as the OEM throttle body hose? And doesn't seem to line up.

Vlad installed mine and I tried using the Mishimoto hose as well and no dice.
Pulled the rubber endy thingys off the stocker and wrestled it into place. No leaks

Yep, and it was a huge pain in the butt lol
You basically have to pull it, realign, and re-wrestle into place like 10-15 times before everything is peachy

Hey guys!
I was just scrolling around the forums and saw that you had an issue with our hose. I know it takes a little bit of wiggling to get it all the way on. However, it should be fairly easy once you know how it sits when it's on.
If its easier, the "Mishimoto Genuine Part" logo faces the intercooler and is visible after the installation is complete.
I found it simpler to install it that way.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
