Shifter Play, Help!

Hey guys, so this isnt me but I just bought a car (02 WRX) that has this same problem, I removed the top plastic and shift boot to see if I could pull out the shifter and couldnt. I have yet to go under the car...
I have Kartboy Short shifter
and KartBoy shifter bushings....possibly...
can someone help me out please?

Can't be sure from just a video, but it's common for the trunion bushings (u-joint at the trans) to fail at higher mileage and cause this type of play. If that is your problem TIC sells a complete replacement unit that will take care of it-
