Return to the Subie world....YESSSSS!
I'm a pround new owner of a unicorn 2003 Sonic WRX wagon. It was completely stock except for the 17" Rota Prodrive knockoffs and the tint. PO was in his 50's, kept records, kept it 99.9% stock etc. so I jumped on it quick.
After a few years of hiatus from the Subie world (used to have a 2.5rs) Im sooooo glad to be back.
I missed being able to give bad weather the finger.
Plans for mods...gonna keep it kinda simple and DD it so here's whats coming soon.
-nice set of new sticky tires this week
-gonna buy an Ebay catback, chop off the muffler and weld a Magnaflow up, Kartboy hangers
-RSB/Endlinks/Whiteline rear diff carrier bushings/Whiteline steering bushies
-AP stg. 1
-some real nice pads, Hawk or Carbotec.
-install my Sirius setup
-install a V1 detector
-springs when its time to do the struts
-sell internal organs for gas $$$
If the tranny ever starts acting up or I just do it anyway, down the road:
-RA gear set, new synchros/bearings
-group N mounts
-short shifter
-Exedy (my buddy is a distrib) stg. 1 clutch, lighter fly
Then I would have no choice but to go stage 2. Life is rough.
Allright I'm just rambling now. Glad to be back, enjoy the crap cellphone pic.
