It's critical that you get an 05 though, not an 04. They may look the same, but you do not want to have to spend money converting an 04 to 5x114. Just a quick FYI.

Welcome to the forum. I went the opposite direction of you, I owned an 05 STi went all out on it, won a couple of shows...then sold it to buy an E46 silver/red interior. Definitely buy an 05 at least because of the interior, lug pattern and rear bumber.

My old STi:

Very nice man, Tiag ftw. Im keeping the M3 so I can eventually finish it with the vf t-rex supercharger kit and a big brake kit and using the sti as my daily driver. Im for sure going to get an 05. Thanks for the advice. Are you on the m3forum?

Great decision on the 05!!! 04 Are great cars, but there is a pretty big difference between the two. You will not regret it. What color are you thinking about?

Blue or black or Platinum Silver Metallic. I cant get silver or white because my friends who own stis have those colors. I wish white was an option for me lol.

Since when does it matter what color your friends have? It's YOUR car, and there are millions of white cars, and silver cars, in this entire country. Everyone's got the same color as someone, no reason you can't have what you want.

+1 for Aspen White
