I decided to go to LIC to get a stock replacement clutch, and the work was done this past weekend.

I was really happy with the service that I got!

clutch feels like a normal stock clutch now (not like before when it felt like i had a ACT in there)

it grabs right of the floor, and it chatters a bit but it has been getting better as a i drive. i expect it will be no more chattering when by the time i've gotten the break in over with

the AC pulley change was an unexpected bonus my car is WAY quieter now on the highway

 

good to hear!,i think my ac pump/pully is toast going in for warrenty though.

 

my clutch still chatters, dont know how old it is...the WHOLE DASH SHAKES!!! taking off from first gear 1/4 of the time

 

i used to have that too in the mornings when the clutch was cold. i found that if i slipped the clutch as little as possible this chattering would not happen. and when the clutched warmed up this never happened. i think this is just one of those subaru things you have to live with, especially if you launch the car hard or slip the clutch with a lot of throttle during shifting
