Newb to I-Club! Help with STI downpipe, uppipe and header choice!!!

Hey everyone! I have an 05 sti and i thought this would be the best place to get information about it. I've had it for about 7 months now and i have cobb accessport, Greddy cat back 3" exhaust, and K&N drop in air filter, and thats it! and my boss keeps gettin on my *** about getting a downpipe and uppipe! lol (he's had 2 sti) So i've been doing some research and there are so many options! and what the hell is equal lenth headers? and should i go unmarried for the downpipe? So what does everybody recommend to me!?

my personal setup is Tomei EL headers w/ Uppipe and Titek catted DP & Cobb exhaust w/ 3" mod.

I love it, response is excellent. and, i'm one of the 'accursed' that doesn't mind going without the subie rumble.

brief tips:
  • Remember there are two styles of flanges for the DP/exhaust junction. One has a donut gasket, the other is a flat flange
  • The donut gasket causes a "neckdown" to 2.5", which some feel is a restriction
  • EL headers lose the rumble, but I feel is more efficient. non-EL headers have a quicker throttle response and keep the subie rumble
