New Owner 05 WRX STi Custom Built 500HP++

I bought the car while on R&R in Jacksonville FL and I absolutely love driving it! Cant not wait to get back home and drive her up to Seattle, WA. Currently she is pushing well over 500HP. Upgraded Turbo tune to conservatively deliver 20psi, engine block beefed up a bit with new forge pistons, rods, headers, etc. I am trying to keep her powerful but yet reliable as an everyday car. Prior to purchasing i had the car undergo a compression and Leak test and it checked out. From the spreadsheet and talking to the tuner of the car it seems like it was properly modify with correct tune, parts, and dyne. Still any suggestions you guys have regarding what else i should do to increase the car reliability and longitivtiy. Thank You

To achieve good tires and wheels, I'm assuming you have coils on the car already? if not maybe some decent cpils or koni with perches would be a good choice first so then you can fit some decent meat up in thurrrrr

I'd ditch the ebay headlights and go back to oem HID's. My STi, had those lights on it too when I got it, there is no comparison for night time driving visibility.

Welcome to the club, sweet lookin ride! That is a lot of power! With great power comes great responsibility so I say make sure the brakes are in good working order.

Thanks for the suggestions and comments everyone. I will be done with this deployment by July so then its hugging my car( note i have no kids or wife), washing, waxing, change fluids, and splurge on some new wheels and tires. Any suggestions for the type of wheels my budget is $3,000 tires included. Figure since i already spent good money on performance why not get good wheels also.

You are going to get all kinds of peoples opinions on what wheels/tires and sizes you should go with. Go and look at some websites and find the wheel style your into and some rims you like and then see what others opinions are. With power like yours you might want to get a rim/tire combo that will put the most amount of contact patch on the ground. If you have stock struts/springs you are somewhat limited on how wide you can go, if you have coilovers or are thinking about going the coilover route you can go wider.
