Guy trades his 500hp STI for a stolen SRT8 Jeep
Hey guys. Dont know if anyones seen this over on the nastysock or not, but fuuuuuuuuuuuu! Its not local so I doubt it would happen, but please dont buy any parts off this guy!
Victims Story
Scammers thread
Cliff notes:
Guy builds a 500hp STI
Decides to sell it for a bigger vehicle
Finds another forum member selling his Jeep
They do the trade
few weeks later, new owner finds out that Jeep is stolen
Scammer is already parting his STI out
Authorities arent really helping the victim

What can the police do to recover the STi? Dude signed his car over to the other guy legitimately. Unfortunately the car he received was not legit.
I think the scammed bought the car with the fake vin, took it to a dealership to get it fixed and they told him that it was a fake vin so I guess he just traded the car so he didn't have to deal with it.
That's what I take from it at least. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
