Exclamation New on here and need some questions answered

Hey guys I'm new here and new to Subaru. I've always wanted on and now I finally have one. I just bought a 95 4 door Impreza with a 1.8 5 speed and I'm wanting to make the car have some *****. is there any performance parts I could put on or in that car to give it some get up, like turbo, cam shafts, stuff like that, or is there an engine I could easily swap with the 1.8 without having to get too crazy. thanks

Nothing short of a turbo engine swap will be worth the money you're putting into it. You have the wrong car if you wanted something to make fast.

Dont listen to him, if you install a turbojet engine, you will have a pretty fast car on your hands, as a matter of fact, would beat most anything

ive been thinking about putting the 2.4 lx motor in my 95 and turboing it. ik I can easily do the swap bc my car is set up for it, but would be worth it?

Welcome to i-club. I would look into setting up your suspension to extenuate your driving style. Since it's a 95 it is probably time for struts and new bushings and call it a day.
