Hey everyone,
I was looking into upgrading my front mount intercooler. I wasn't looking to update it a whole lot, just something that looks a little better.

Can you guys help me pick one that's between $100-$200?

I was wondering if a universal front mount intercooler like this would work:

If so, would I need to buy any other pipping, or would it just replace the one on my 2003?

Do you already have a front mount, or do you want to upgrade from a top-mount to a front mount? I think most people won't recommend you to upgraded to a FMIC unless you are running a bigger turbo. Keep in mind that extra piping will create more turbo lag.

If you really want to switch intercoolers, go look for an STi one.

 

I like the front mount look better i dont really care for turbo lag. What would I need?

the IC will have pressure drop its the bar and plate (i think i always get mixed up)

you have to make mounts for that one too


you would need to get teh hoses and buy clamps and connectors


look in the reional for sale i have seen some like greddy go for 300$
