The Momo **** doesn't screw onto the shaft like the OEM one. Instead it is slipped onto the shaft and secured with three set screws. The set screws go into the three holes at the bottom of the **** and are tightened with the hex key that is provided. There may be different length set screws in the kit, you use the ones that work best with your installation.
There is also a threaded collar provided, this is slipped onto the shaft before the ****, with the open/threaded side up, and after the **** is installed and the setscrews tightened the collar is screwed up to the base of the **** to hide the setscrews. If the collar doesn't fit over the base because the setscrews are sticking out too much, use the shorter setscrews.
The factory shift **** has the plastic flange that holds the boot in place against the bottom of the ****. The Momo **** doesn't have anything to retain the boot so if you want the boot to stay up against the **** you'll have to improvise something.

I have the install directions here:

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...=&threadid=202

To see how to take the console off of a WRX to get at the underside of a boot if you want to put something to hold it up look here:

That's why I posted this link:

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sh...s=&threadid=205

That one shows how to take apart the WRX console.

PS: You should turn of your caps lock, it's hard to read and considered shouting when you are on the internet.
